Marion Forward was an outstanding centre on the Varsity Basketball team for four seasons, including the championship team in 1926-27. She also played on the Victoria College senior teams in Basketball and Ice Hockey, and was awarded a Senior T in 1928.
Following graduation, she coached the Varsity senior women's Basketball team in 1929-30, 1930-31, 1931-32 and 1933-34, winning the WIAU championship each season. She is the third member of the 1926-27 Basketball Blues to be inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame, joining captain Phyllis Griffiths and coach Hec Crighton.
Marion was a member of the UofT administrative staff for many years, first at Victoria College and then as Secretary to the Department of Botany.
