Field Hockey
Lisa McCrae made an impact on the field hockey pitch here at U of T and on the international stage. Lisa was a member of three OWIAA and two CIAU championship teams during her five years with the Varsity Blues. She helped the team to the national title in her rookie season and went on to claim the provincial title and CIAU silver medals in 1982 and 1983.
Lisa was recognized as an OWIAA all-star and CIAU all-Canadian in both 1984 and 1985. She was team captain for two years, leading the Blues to the OWIAA and CIAU championship banners in her final season with the team.
After graduation, Lisa helped Canada earn bronze medals at both the 1986 World Cup in Holland and the 1987 Pan American Games in Indianapolis. She competed in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, where Canada placed sixth overall.
