Jean Stevenson (1921 – 2010)

Basketball
Jean Stevenson played intercollegiate basketball in 1939-40 before becoming the President of the U of T basketball club in 1941-42. That same year, Stevenson served as the President of the Victoria Women’s Athletic Association (WAA) and was a member of the WAA Directorate.
She played interfaculty basketball and hockey for four years, earning one basketball championship title. Stevenson went onto become the varsity basketball coach from 1945-47, winning the title in 1946-47.
