An outstanding athlete in two Varsity sports, Jane Wright was a member of 3 OWIAA champions and 1 CIAU winner in Field Hockey, and also 2 OWIAA champions and 2 CIAU winners in Swimming. She won 9 OWIAA Swimming medals and in 1974 set CIAU records in the 200m and 400m individual Medley. Her international Swimming career included the 1970 Commonwealth Games, 1971 Pan-Am Games (1 Gold and 1 Silver Medal), 1972 Olympics and 1973 World Aquatics Championships.
Wright received the Hill-Powell Administration Award in 1975, a Bronze T in 1978 and the Benson Honour Award in 1978. She is a hospital administrator in Toronto.
