University of Toronto Athletics

The captain of the senior team for several years, Ewan Stuart MacDonald was an elite-level gymnast at the University of Toronto from 1933-40, earning seven championship banners in as many years.

He was a three-time intercollegiate individual champion (1934-35, 1936-37 and 1938-39) and won the Werry Cup twice as the highest aggregate scorer (1935 and 1939).

Ewan earned his Bronze T, as well as five First Colour awards and one Second Colour award.
