MEET TRUE BLUE!

True Blue is the official mascot of the Varsity Blues. He appears at all home football games and select men's and women's basketball, volleyball and hockey home games. In addition, True Blue makes appearances at various on-campus and community functions as an ambassador for the University of Toronto's athletic department.

Interested in being True Blue?

There are no standard requirements to be a mascot; however, candidates with theatrical, dance, acrobatic and comic skills do very well as mascots. The mascot does not have set practice sessions, but can attend cheer, dance or pom team practices when necessary.

Full-time students admitted into the St. George, Mississauga, or Scarborough campus are eligible to tryout for the team. All members must meet minimum academic standards during the season to continue to participate in the program.
