The Varsity Blues men's lacrosse team traveled to London, Ontario on Friday night (Sept. 22) to play the first-place Western University Mustangs. The Blues came away with a 26-3 loss.
Although Toronto scored first on a goal by attack Jason Barnable, Western answered with 17 straight goals to lead 9-1 after the first quarter and 17-1 at the half.
Barnable added two more goals in the second half on assists by fellow Attack AJ Masson.
Ultimately Western was too dominant for the Blues, scoring another nine goals in the second half to win going away.
Toronto will look to regroup as they host the McMaster Marauders at Varsity Stadium this Sunday, September 24 at 5 p.m.
