Bradley Bedford, Kyle Bowers, Adam Odd and Tanner Young-Schultz were all recognized as Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced 2014 baseball major award winners and all-stars on Thursday, October 16.

At catcher and second base, respectively, Young-Schultz and Bedford were named to the first team, while Bowers and Odd earned spots on the second team at first base and designated hitter.

A second-year engineering student from Stratford, Ont., Young-Schultz had another solid season, ranking third in the OUA with 22 RBI and fourth with 26 hits in 17 games. He also hit three home runs on the year, two of which came in last weekend's sweep of the Ryerson Rams.

A sophomore second baseman, Bedford (Burlington, Ont.) ranked third on the Blues with 21 hits and 13 RBI, while leading the squad with a .538 OBP.

In his fourth and final season with the Blues, Bowers (Toronto) ranked second in the province with 112 put outs in 18 games. He also notched 19 hits and seven RBI on the season.

A first-year standout with the Blues, Odd (Mississauga) led the OUA with a .471 batting average and ranked fifth with 24 hits. He also hit 11 RBI on the year.
