The OUA champion University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s golf team placed seventh at the Hawk Spring Invitational hosted by Monmouth University, March 27-28, in West Long Branch, New Jersey.

Laura Upenieks of Toronto led the way for the Blues, finishing 13th overall with a two-day score of 167. Fellow OUA all-stars Na Eun Park (Winnipeg) and Christine Ho (Toronto) were next with scores of 179 and 181, respectively. First-year arts and science major Wendy Dobson of Riverview, N.B. also golfed for the Blue and White, finishing with a final score of 216.

The Blues finished with a combined team score of 743, just one point behind the sixth-place Wagner College. Fairleigh Dickinson took the top spot for the second consecutive year with an overall score of 639.
